The spring equinox is when the first day of spring occurs, which is March 20th this year. What is a solstice, you may ask? Well, an equinox is when there is about 12 hours of daytime and about 12 hours of nighttime. The spring equinox officially marks the end of winter promising fresh beginnings, sunny days, new growth of living things, and a fruitful season. The equinox is so important because only twice a year for spring and for fall the sun crosses the celestial equator moving from the northern hemisphere to the southern hemisphere or vice versa depending on the equinox that is happening. These two crossings are very important for the inhabitants of earth because they mark the change in the direction of the suns rays fall on the earth. If you want to celebrate the spring equinox with someone maybe you can drink some pinkalicous lemonade or create a curious George inspired bird feeder to celebrate the new birds in your neighborhood.

If you want to celebrate the spring equinox, here are some more ideas: plant some beautiful flowers or cook herbs, and if you don’t like that plant a tree and try to make it last for at least the next spring equinox or for many more years to come. If you did not know, the goddess that celebrates the spring equinox is Ostara. The word Ostara comes from the Anglo Saxon goddess name Eostre. Eostre represents or represented Spring and new beginnings. That is all you need to know about the spring equinox!

Since St. Patricks day is here or is on the way, I thought to make an article about Irish celebrities.

Seán William Mcgloughlin, also known as Jack Septic Eye, known for having a loud and energetic personality and his signature high five with which he starts off every video is an Irish youtuber.  Born in 1990 on 7th of February in Cloghan Offaly Ireland making him 33 today, he joined Youtube in 2007 on the 24th of February. He started off doing vocal impressions of famous video game characters like solid snake from the game series metal gear. Solid, his channel name, came from a guy named Paul led who called him Jack Septic Eye after him getting an eye infection during a football match; he told this story in his show “How Did we Get Here?” He first started doing a tradition called “Thankmas” where during December he begins a stream bringing on fellow content creators to raise money for a certain charity. Last year, he raised $7.7million in a single record breaking day for the charity world central kitchen.

Liam Neeson is an actor mostly known for being featured in the movie series “Taken. ” Born in Ballymeena,  7th of June, 1752. During his early years, Liam worked as a forklift operator for Guinness, a truck driver, an assistant architect and an amateur boxer. He had originally sought a career as a teacher by attending St. Mary’s Teaching College, Newcastle.

Michael Fassbender is an actor known for his roles in the ALIEN movies usually made by Ridley Scott, the movie 300 by Zach Snyder and the film Inglorious Bastards by Quentin Tarantino . Fassbender was born 2nd of April 1977. Born in Heidelberg and raised in Killarney, Fassbender made his feature film debut as a Spartan warrior in the fantasy war epic  in which he played the British officer Lieutenant Archie Hicox.

These are only three examples but the ones that come to my head first. Have a good day where ever you may be!
